On 10th November we co-hosted Gear Up – Driving Security Transformation, with industry-leading solution providers CrowdStrike, eSentire and Netskope.
Hosted at the London Rally School near Bicester, we were joined by 30 Infosec professionals looking to drive forward their IT security transformation.
The morning started with some great presentations from CrowdStrike, eSentire and Netskope, showcasing EDR (Endpoint Protection Response), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), XDR (Extended Detection and Response), and SSE (Security Service Edge). Most importantly they addressed the need of organizations to transform their security operations with best-of-breed solutions that are seamlessly interoperable, integrating solutions to deliver optimized results and paving the way to digital transformation.
The intervals provided a great opportunity for networking with cybersecurity experts and peers, and to discuss specific security issues.
A hot lunch in the Vaulted Barn prepared our guests for an exhilarating afternoon, who took part in Off-Road Reverse Steer Driving, Rage Buggies, Axe Throwing and finally the Rally driving in a choice of Subaru Impreza and Ford Escort RS2000.
The adrenaline-filled afternoon resulted in some great feedback from the guests:
“Great presentations, engaging people and lovely venue – had a great day!” – Marcin Roth, Senior Cyber Security Manager, Currys Plc
“Had a great day with some really enjoyable activities.” – Nick Andrews, Chief Technology Officer, Norsk-Global
“Great afternoon. Great networking opportunity with vendors and peers!” – Stuart Wright, Compliance and Data Security Manager, Lastminute.com
Lorna Fimia, Marketing Director at Babble (formerly activereach) sums up the event:
“We had a great event with a very engaged Infosec audience. We discussed how many organizations have extremely complex IT environments and a raft of challenges to deal with if they hope to secure their assets effectively. We covered the areas that need to be a focus for security teams and how integration best practice can enable you to get ahead of modern threats.
The discussion highlighted the need for organizations to transform their security operations with integrated market-leading solutions.”
A big thank you to our sponsors and co-hosts Crowdstrike, eSentire and Netskope. If you want to find out more about these technologies and how they integrate take a look at our recent blogs:
