Network Design: Out In The Open
activereach, in conjunction with tech partners Cumulus Networks and Mellanox Technologies, is hosting a free breakfast meeting specifically geared towards educating networking IT professionals on how to introduce open source technologies into their data center networks. We will show you how these open networking platforms enable customers to choose best of breed components in order to optimize and automate their data centers to meet their business needs. Reserve your spot today.
This is not a sales pitch! Come prepared for an engaging session where you can whiteboard and brainstorm with engineering expert, Pete Crocker. He will review current network designs and various ways you can introduce open source technologies into existing environments — without disruption and with full interoperability.
Hear also from Mark Taplin as he explains how Mellanox’s low latency, zero packet loss and wire-speed performance solutions can be deployed to enable greater agility, automation, and efficiency to data centres scaling to the cloud.
Pete Crocker is a UK-based systems engineer for Cumulus Networks, a provider of open networking solutions for the data center. Previously a network engineer himself, he’s been working with many of the largest European service providers, financials and enterprise customers since the turn of the millennium.
Mark Taplin utilizes his vast service provider experience for his role at Mellanox Technologies, a leading supplier of end-to-end Ethernet interconnect solutions and services for servers and storage. Previously having worked both as an engineer and in pre-sales, he offers a unique take on providing multi-cloud service broker solutions.
